The Lourdes Mount College of Engineering and Technology has a fully furnished Library.  The total area of the Library building is about 450 sq.m. Many  knowledge – based services like References, Bibliography, Reprography, Internet Browsing, E-Services, current Awareness and Question papers are provided by the Library for its users.


There are more than 5000 Volumes & 800 Titles of books, 36 National Journals, 36 International Journals, 25 Magazines, 30 Educational packages, dailies and E-Journals.

Digital knowledge center

The prime objective of this Digital knowledge center is to act as a subject gateway providing access  to the information resources of various Libraries and Information services both internal and external all in one place, enabling users to search, browse and download any required data needed quickly and easily.  The Digital knowledge center accesses the following:

For the transportation of the day-scholars and staff members, our college buses plying from various places of Trivandrum and Kanyakumari districts. The buses are operated after taking into account the boarding point of the students.

All the buses reach the campus before 8:45 a.m. to attend the classes at 9:00 a.m. The buses leave the campus at 4:10 pm, which helps students to reach home early and safe. The students are asked to come to the boarding point, 10 minutes before the time intimated.

Cafeteria & General Store

A spotless, well maintained and spacious dining hall to accommodate 100 students to dine at a time has been set-up to serve delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. There is a separate dining hall for girls. A hygienic kitchen with all modern amenities is attached. The nutritious food is prepared with the help of unique steam cooking equipment. Different timings are maintained in catering food to one and all. Most interestingly, all the employees, students, staff and visitors are served the same graded food without any differentiation.
